My Story
About me
I’m Hari Prasad Adhikari, an electrical engineer, researcher, and educator driven by a lifelong curiosity for how things work — and how they can work better. From taking apart everyday devices as a kid to designing complex robotic and IoT systems today, my journey has been guided by a desire to create, learn, and share knowledge. I’ve built and led projects that blend engineering with education, founding Techsthal Innovations to make robotics and STEM learning accessible across Nepal. Beyond circuits and code, I’m passionate about problem-solving, mentoring young innovators, and using technology to make meaningful impact. As I look ahead, my goal is to continue exploring the intersection of intelligence, automation, and human creativity, contributing to research and innovations that shape a smarter and more connected world.
Founding Techsthal
Bringing hands-on STEM and robotics to school students across Nepal — sparking curiosity, creativity and practical learning.
From a young age, I was fascinated by how things worked. Circuits, motors, and the mystery inside electronic devices always drew me in—I would open up tape recorders, toys, and audio players just to understand what made them come alive. That curiosity naturally led me toward engineering, where every concept I learned—like the Brayton Cycle used in airplanes or the workings of an electric motor—connected the classroom to the real world around me.
As I studied deeper, I realized how powerful it feels to understand the invisible systems that drive our world—from power grids and wireless communication to the very internet that connects us. But I also noticed a gap: school students were still learning from outdated materials, missing the spark of modern, practical science.
That realization became the foundation for Techsthal Innovations—an initiative to bring STEM, robotics, and programming education to schools across Nepal. Through Techsthal, I wanted to give students the same sense of wonder and discovery that shaped my own journey—helping them see that engineering isn’t just about machines, but about curiosity, creativity, and problem-solving.
Today, Techsthal has reached over a thousand students, introducing them to hands-on robotics and real-world technology. For me, success isn’t just in numbers—it’s in seeing that same spark of curiosity light up in young minds. Techsthal is my way of passing on the excitement of “how things work” to the next generation of innovators.
Exploring Ideas Through Research
My research lies at the intersection of control systems, robotics, and data-driven modeling. I love transforming theory into working prototypes — from self-stabilizing drones and efficient DC-DC converters to intelligent systems that learn from real-world data. I believe true innovation happens where hardware meets intelligence.
